How Meezan ERP runs a public transport business
A bus company sells seats that disappear the moment the bus leaves: a terminal counter, ten agents and an online booking all sell the same 45 seats. Meezan ERP runs the routes and schedules, books seats from every channel on one seat chart, and takes the conductor's waybill and cash deposit at the other end. Diesel issued per bus is checked against km run, so the owner sees income and cost per trip, per bus and per route before the next morning's departures.
Usual weak points
- Same seat sold twice by the counter and an agent
- Conductor cash and road tickets matched days later, if at all
- Diesel issued on a chit — no km or average per bus
- No one knows which route or departure actually loses money
How Meezan ERP covers them
- Routes, timings, fares by class and the daily departure schedule
- One live seat chart for the terminal, agents and online booking
- Conductor waybill, parcels and cash deposit matched at the terminal
- Diesel issue per bus with km and average, and income per trip after diesel and tolls
