Pharmacy chains ERP
Every strip traced by batch and expiry — from the distributor's GRN to the patient's prescription
Meezan ERP set up for a sample pharmacy chains business: its own documents, vouchers and WhatsApp automation. It plays by itself — click any screen to take over, or type your company name and press the button.
What the demo shows — 10 screens
- Owner dashboardSales across branches, prescriptions, stock about to expire and money owed to distributors — on one screen.
- Purchase GRNMedicines received from the distributor by batch and expiry, with MRP and trade price checked line by line.
- Near-expiry reportStock expiring soon, with its value and what to do — return, move to another branch or push at the counter.
- Controlled-drug registerEvery controlled tablet in and out against a prescription — the balance always matches the drawer.
- Prescription invoiceA prescription sold at the counter by strip and pack — reported to FBR with a QR code on the receipt.
- Branch transferStock moved from the main branch to a branch that sells it — out of one, into the other, batch by batch.
- Expiry return claimNear-expiry stock returned to the distributor before the deadline — the credit note is followed until it arrives.
- Distributor paymentThe distributor paid by cheque — the GRN settled and the expiry credit note set off in the same voucher.
- WhatsApp — ownerThe owner approves the distributor payment and gets the night closing of every branch on WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp — patientsPatients order refills and get receipts, and distributors receive purchase orders and return lists on WhatsApp.
How Meezan ERP runs a pharmacy chains business
A pharmacy loses money quietly: a carton expiring on the back shelf, a near-expiry return sent too late to be accepted, a controlled medicine that does not match the register. Meezan ERP tracks every medicine by DRAP registration, batch and expiry from the distributor's invoice to the prescription at the counter, across all branches. The POS sells by strip or pack, picks the earliest expiry first and reports each sale to FBR in real time. Near-expiry stock is moved to the branch that sells it or returned to the distributor in time, and the controlled-drug register balances itself.
Usual weak points
- Medicines expire on the shelf because nobody saw the date in time
- Near-expiry returns sent after the distributor's deadline and refused
- Controlled and narcotic medicines kept in a hand-written register that rarely balances
- Branches run short of fast movers while another branch holds months of stock
How Meezan ERP covers them
- Purchase GRN with DRAP registration, batch, expiry, MRP and trade price for every line
- First-expiry-first-out at the POS, strip and pack selling, prescription capture and FBR POS integration
- Near-expiry alerts by 90 / 60 / 30 days with return claims to the right distributor
- Controlled-drug register per item, with prescriber, patient and running balance
