Goods transport ERP
Bilty to delivery — every trip, litre, toll and rupee of freight on the right vehicle
Meezan ERP set up for a sample goods transport business: its own documents, vouchers and WhatsApp automation. It plays by itself — click any screen to take over, or type your company name and press the button.
What the demo shows — 10 screens
- Owner dashboardVehicles on the road, freight booked, to-pay still to collect and diesel used — on one screen and on the owner's WhatsApp.
- BiltyThe bilty for a consignment: consignor, consignee, packages, weight and freight to be collected at delivery.
- Trip sheetA round trip settled: freight earned both ways against diesel, tolls, khurak and adda charges.
- Diesel slip registerEvery diesel slip with litres and km — the average per vehicle shows which truck is burning too much.
- Driver advance voucherCash advance to the driver for the trip — booked to his account and settled when the trip closes.
- Vehicle-wise P&LProfit per vehicle for the month — own trucks and market vehicles hired through brokers side by side.
- POD / delivery registerEvery consignment delivered, short or still on the road — with the POD photo behind each line.
- Party ledgerA booking party's account — freight billed, cheques received and the tax they withheld.
- WhatsApp — ownerThe owner approves a market-vehicle hire from the phone and gets the night report on vehicles and money.
- WhatsApp — road & partiesDrivers send diesel slips and POD photos; consignees get delivery updates without calling the adda.
How Meezan ERP runs a goods transport business
A transport business earns on the bilty and loses on the road: diesel bought on the way, motorway tolls, driver advances that are never settled, a tyre that goes before its time. Meezan ERP issues the bilty with consignor, consignee and freight to-pay or paid, builds the trip sheet from it and collects every diesel slip, toll and advance against that trip. The owner sees profit per vehicle and per trip, what each party owes, and which consignments are still on the road.
Usual weak points
- Bilty books in the adda, freight collected in cash and never matched
- Driver advances given in cash and settled from memory
- Diesel averages unknown — a vehicle burning 20% extra goes unnoticed
- No idea which vehicle actually makes money after tyres and repairs
How Meezan ERP covers them
- Bilty with consignor, consignee, packages, weight and to-pay / paid freight
- Trip sheet with route, km, diesel, M-2 / M-5 tolls, khurak and the driver's advance
- Vehicle-wise P&L including market (broker) vehicles and their hire
- Delivery register with POD photos and short / damage claims
The workflow, step by step
One system from the first document to the profit report — no re-typing between departments.
- 1Booking & bilty
Goods booked at the adda or picked from the party; bilty issued with packages, weight, rate and to-pay or paid freight.
- 2Loading & trip sheet
Bilties loaded on an own or market vehicle; trip sheet opened with route, km out and the driver's advance.
- 3On the road
Diesel slips, motorway tolls and khurak entered by the driver from WhatsApp, each with a photo.
- 4Delivery & POD
Consignee receives the goods; POD signed and photographed; short or damaged packages create a claim.
- 5Trip settlement
Km in, diesel average, advance settled against expenses, freight collected, trip profit posted.
- 6Party accounts
Paid and to-pay freight on party ledgers, withholding tax certificates, recoveries and the vehicle-wise P&L.
