Manufacturing ERP
Sales order to dispatch — every batch planned, issued, produced, checked and costed
Meezan ERP set up for a sample manufacturing business: its own documents, vouchers and WhatsApp automation. It plays by itself — click any screen to take over, or type your company name and press the button.
What the demo shows — 10 screens
- Plant dashboardOutput, machine efficiency, rejects, orders due and money position — on one screen and on the owner's WhatsApp twice a day.
- Bill of materialsThe standard recipe for one product — material per piece, rates and conversion cost give the standard cost.
- Material issue noteThe store issues against the work order — anything above the BOM quantity is flagged before it leaves.
- Shift productionShift A from the moulding hall: target, good pieces, rejects and efficiency for every machine.
- QC inspectionEvery batch tested before it can move to the finished goods store — failed tests put it on hold.
- Sales tax invoiceDispatch on one document: delivery challan, gate pass number and the FBR sales tax invoice.
- Cost sheet — std vs actualThe work order closes with its actual cost per unit beside the standard — every rupee of variance has a reason.
- Receipt voucherThe customer's payment is received against the invoice — income tax withheld is booked as an adjustable credit.
- WhatsApp — ownerThe owner approves the resin purchase and gets the night report on WhatsApp — no login needed.
- WhatsApp — floor & buyersSupervisors report breakdowns from the floor, and customers get dispatch details without a phone call.
How Meezan ERP runs a manufacturing business
A plant makes money in the gap between the standard cost on paper and the actual cost on the floor: a few grams of extra resin per piece, a machine that runs at 70% for a week, a batch that fails QC and is reground. Meezan ERP links the sales order to the production plan, the bill of materials, the work order and every kilo issued from the store. Production is entered by shift and machine, QC releases the batch, and dispatch moves on a gate pass with a sales tax invoice. The owner sees standard against actual cost per unit for every work order, not an average at year end.
Usual weak points
- Material issued in bulk, so nobody knows what each order really consumed
- Machine output and rejects written on a board and lost by the next shift
- Cost per unit is last year's estimate, not this batch's actual
- Goods leave the gate without a gate pass matched to an invoice
How Meezan ERP covers them
- Bill of materials per product with standard quantities, scrap allowance and conversion cost
- Work orders that issue exactly the BOM quantity and flag every extra kilo
- Shift-wise production per machine: good pieces, rejects, downtime and efficiency
- Standard vs actual cost per unit for every work order, with the variance explained
The workflow, step by step
One system from the first document to the profit report — no re-typing between departments.
- 1Sales order
Customer order with product, quantity, rate and delivery date; credit limit checked before it is accepted.
- 2Production plan & BOM
Orders grouped into a weekly plan per machine; material need worked out from each product's BOM against stock.
- 3Work order & material issue
Work order released to the floor; the store issues resin, masterbatch, caps and labels against it.
- 4Shift production
Supervisor enters good pieces, rejects and downtime per machine and shift from the floor.
- 5QC & finished goods
Batch tested for weight, wall thickness, drop and leak; released lots move to the finished goods store.
- 6Dispatch & costing
Delivery challan, gate pass and sales tax invoice together; work order closed with actual cost per unit.
Modules used in manufacturing
Orders, delivery dates, machine loading, material requirement and shortages.
Multi-level BOM, scrap allowance, routing, work order release and closing.
GRN, issue against work order, returns, regrind and reorder levels.
Good pieces, rejects, downtime reasons, mould changes and efficiency per machine.
Incoming, in-process and final inspection; batch release, hold and rejection.
Gate passes, sales tax invoices, receivables, WHT, standard vs actual cost.
FBR-integrated invoicing · tax returns · WhatsApp approvals and reports · cloud or on your own server · built to your process
WhatsApp automation for manufacturing
The owner approves and gets reports on WhatsApp; staff, customers and suppliers send and receive their documents there — every message is posted in the ERP.
- Output and efficiency per machine and shift
- Material issued vs BOM per work order
- Reject and regrind % per product and machine
- Standard vs actual cost per unit, order by order
- Orders due this week against stock and capacity
